Specialisms

I am interested in taxonomy, systematics, macro and ecological photography of benthic macroinvertebrates, as well as freshwater benthic ecology. Chironomidae, Atyidae, and Isopoda are my main research subjects. Over the past few years, I have been involved in the collection, identification, and photography of benthic macroinvertebrates in various river basins across China, and have collected a series of specimens and images. I hope to enrich the image database of Chinese benthic macroinvertebrates. You can also find me on iNaturalist @zzcshou.
