Specialisms

I am interested in eDNA (environmental DNA), which can be used for the detection of biodiversity, the detection of rare and endangered species and so on.The technology permits the detection of biological information within environmental samples, as well as the study of specific groups of research organisms.
Currently, my main work is testing the application of multiplex universal PCR primers for metabarcoding avian eDNA.
