Research

I am interested in comparative genomics and bioinformatics.
At present, our main focus is on the genomic evolution of fish, using whole genome data from multiple species and populations for comparative analysis, hoping to identify genomic differences between species during migration and freshwater invasion, and further explain the changes in different stages of species adaptive evolution. In addition, I am interested in assembling short-reads DNA data and have participated in the development of in silica assembly methods, which have improved the accuracy of short fragment assembly.
