Research

My work is focused on:
1) systematics and biogeography of Chironomidae (Diptera) by using integrative taxonomy, phylogeny with genomic data;
2) Assembling a comprehensive DNA barcode reference library of Chinese chironomids;
3) Using eDNA metabarcoding to monitor aquatic biodiversity.
